Biid summer party 2012

This year's Summer Party, hosted by BIID Industry Partners the Republic of Fritz Hansen, was a major hit with 144 people turning up on the night. The showroom, located in the heart of the Fitzrovia design district, offered glasses of bubbly and beer complimented by exquisite Danish canapés from the North Road Restaurant.

Guests could enter in a raffle with some fantastic prizes including: a limited edition Fritz Hansen Ant chair sponsored by Fritz Hansen, an Aalto Vase sponsored by Skandium, a Tasting Menu Voucher for 2 sponsored by North Road Restaurant and a BIID Interior Design Job Book and a BIID contract sponsored by the BIID. The suspension was high during the draw of the lucky winners, but soothing Motown tunes soon cured any disappointments and even lured people to the dance floor.

BIID Membership Manager, Joy Curniffe, said that the party was a huge hit. "The turn-out was brilliant and the Fritz Hansen showroom provided the perfect venue. We thank them for being the perfect hosts!"
